The Expert Business Analyst — Business Impact Analysis and Operational Resilience role is hybrid in Oakland, CA, with onsite work two to three days per week and availability for onsite work as business and project needs require. Compensation is $41.11–$58.05 per hour. Pivot Point Solutions provides field professionals and project support to construction and utility organizations across California. The analyst leads enterprise business impact assessments to identify critical services, dependencies, disruption impacts, and recovery requirements. The work translates findings into recovery strategies and resilience recommendations, aligning business needs with technology capabilities across business and technical teams.

What you'll do

• Lead business impact analysis assessments and facilitate stakeholder workshops
• document critical functions, services, applications, platforms, and dependencies
• assess disruption impacts
• establish recovery objectives and priorities
• evaluate application recoverability
• translate findings into recovery strategies and remediation
• coordinate with continuity, disaster recovery, cyber recovery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk teams
• manage project plans and report findings to leadership.
