The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN. The stated salary range is $180,000–$210,000 per year. Det-Tronics develops industrial life safety solutions, including flame and gas detection and automation control systems. Reporting to the CFO, the director leads financial planning and performance analytics to connect operating results with value creation. The role owns planning and reporting, develops the FP&A team, and advises the CFO on financial strategy and transformation priorities.

What you'll do

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial models
• partner with functional leaders on margin, SG&A, and working capital opportunities
• build scenario models
• develop performance dashboards and KPI scorecards
• own profitability analytics
• prepare financial packages for senior leadership and the private equity sponsor
• support M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration tracking
• manage and develop FP&A analysts
• improve process automation and systems integration
• advise the CFO on financial strategy.

Why this role

10+ years of progressive FP&A experience required; bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar required; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred; hands-on JDE ERP and business intelligence experience required.
