The Retail Team Lead / Store Manager role is onsite in Richlands, VA. Compensation is $52,500 per year. The position leads a Goodwill Industries of Tenneva retail location, supporting the organization’s employment and training programs in local communities. The role has full operational accountability for store performance, donated-goods processing, customer and donor experience, and team development. It combines hands-on retail leadership with financial oversight, merchandising, compliance, and development of future store leaders.

What you'll do

• Lead day-to-day retail operations
• oversee donated-goods processing and production targets
• manage expense-to-revenue ratios and payroll budgets
• drive sales, donor value, retention, and safety metrics
• ensure policy, safety, and CARF compliance
• hire, train, develop, and coach team members
• oversee merchandising, donation flow, store image, cleanliness, loss prevention, POS, cash handling, scheduling, and reporting
• regularly open and close the store
• work 45 hours per week with scheduling adjustments as needed.
