• process and cut plate steel in various sizes and shapes
• fabricate heavy structural steel components
• operate hoists and overhead cranes to move materials
• verify finished products meet specifications
• use rulers and tape measures and apply basic shop math
• maintain quality and safety standards
• work with minimal supervision.
