Paramedic (Critical Care Transport) This is an onsite, full-time position in Murfreesboro, TN. Compensation is not specified. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare. The Paramedic responds to medical emergencies and provides advanced critical care during transport to the hospital, evaluating patient conditions, administering life-saving support, and directing EMTs in patient care.

What you'll do

• Advanced patient assessment and monitoring.
• Advanced clinical interventions including but not limited to: mechanical ventilation, medication infusions and advanced airway management within the scope of practice.
• Safe and efficient inter/intra-facility transport.
• Clear, consistent and accurate documentation and communication.
• Participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
• Maintain vehicle readiness through completing daily checks, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies.
• Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care record for each dispatched transport within the specified time frame.
• Responsible for daily base checks, which includes narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility maintaining thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintains competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoing clinical experiences.
