The Associate Field Applications Engineer, Power Electronics role is onsite in San Jose, CA; the expected annual pay range is $75,000–$89,500, with bonus opportunities also noted. Working with senior field applications and power systems engineers, the associate validates and troubleshoots power solutions for AI, data center, server, networking, and high-performance computing customers. The role supports customer designs from concept through production and helps customers deploy power-management technologies.

What you'll do

• Support strategic customer programs under senior FAE guidance
• validate, characterize, and optimize digital multiphase power solutions
• conduct laboratory testing of efficiency, load transients, sequencing, telemetry, protection features, and power rails
• investigate faults and root causes
• support board bring-up, power supply debugging, and system validation
• participate in schematic, component selection, and PCB layout reviews
• prepare technical reports and customer presentations
• assist with automated validation and data analysis
• collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams
• travel periodically to customer sites.
