What you'll do

• Help initiate, develop, review, and update resident plans of care
• notify physicians and legal representatives of significant changes as required
• review complaints and grievances
• evaluate emergencies
• maintain a clean and safe unit with necessary supplies
• document incidents and ensure nurse’s notes are informative
• start and monitor ordered intravenous medication
• assist with nursing procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges
• conduct resident rounds
• support and supervise nursing personnel
• participate in staff evaluation and disciplinary action
• protect resident rights.
