What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and approved menus
• provide customer service and support a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
• work with the food service director to support resident satisfaction
• maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and food-storage areas
• open or close the kitchen
• follow cleaning schedules and food-safety practices
• estimate food and supply needs
• document food and refrigeration temperatures
• assist with supply handling and special events, banquets, and theme meals.
