What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope
• perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related equipment
• estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• solicit and evaluate quotations
• prepare bid proposals and estimate summaries
• identify value engineering and cost-saving options
• attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs as required.
