The Assistant Produce Primetime Leader role is onsite in Daleville, VA, during primetime hours: 3–7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Pay is $18.05 per hour. The role supports Kroger’s store and produce department leaders in improving sales and customer experience. The assistant leader helps direct associates, maintain fresh and well-presented produce, and execute department promotions and inventory practices. The role contributes to a welcoming customer experience and consistent department performance during busy hours.

What you'll do

• Support and direct associates during primetime hours
• communicate department information and performance goals
• train and develop associates
• replenish and rotate products
• assist customers and share produce specials
• maintain merchandising, freshness, cleanliness, inventory, temperature, and safety standards
• support promotions and closing readiness.
