Electrical Test Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 is an onsite role in Redmond, WA. Compensation is $30 per hour, and the position is eligible for holiday pay. The intern joins Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems’ Test Engineering Team, supporting technology for aircraft and other mission-critical industries. Working under experienced electrical and software engineers, the intern assists with planning and installing an automated assembly line and developing a self-test fixture for automated test equipment. The work contributes engineering analysis, hardware and software integration, and test-data review to team projects.

What you'll do

• Assist with assembly and validation of a new automated assembly process
• review automated test equipment and develop a self-test fixture design
• work with engineers on a self-test schematic and PCB layout
• integrate self-test hardware and software
• investigate and troubleshoot test equipment
• analyze production test data for performance trends.
