This role performs Imaging studies of various parts of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury, operating radiation-producing equipment and performing advanced competencies in multiple imaging environments.

What you'll do

• Positions and prepares patients for exams.
• Performs procedures and assesses patients.
• Completes documentation for each study.
• Operates computer and PACS functions.
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Universal protocols.
• Uses professional judgment and critical thinking.
• Operates radiation-producing equipment in various environments.
• Performs computed radiography functions.
• Holds current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, advanced CT registry, and certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts within 90 days of hire.
• Holds current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Has one year of experience in an Imaging Department.
