What you'll do

• Prepare proposal estimates for heavy civil work, including earthwork, underground utilities, and concrete
• review specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements
• complete quantity takeoffs and calculate costs
• maintain estimating cost data
• review design options and recommend solutions based on cost, engineering quality, or material availability
• obtain subcontractor bids
• support safety and environmental compliance
• assist other department personnel as required.
