Director, Consumer Underwriting

The Director, Consumer Underwriting is a remote role available to work from home in Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Indiana, North Dakota, or South Dakota. The base salary is $135,000–$235,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual incentive plan. The role leads Ally’s Consumer Underwriting team for an assigned territory.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic oversight of territory operations and consumer underwriting decisions
• maintain controls that mitigate risk and support corporate policies
• lead, mentor, and develop Consumer Underwriters
• set annual objectives and monitor performance
• work with matrix partners and develop dealer opportunities
• manage efforts to grow Ally’s portfolio
• handle projects assigned by senior leadership.
