What you'll do
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial ammonia, commercial refrigeration, and commercial air-conditioning systems
- diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues
- perform system start-ups and shutdowns
- maintain system components
- complete inspections, work orders, timecards, and service reports
- follow EPA, PSM, RMP, IIAR, and OSHA requirements
- participate in the on-call rotation and emergency service calls
- communicate safety concerns
- mentor junior technicians.
