Job overview
The Aeromechanical Engineering Intern is an onsite, 12-week summer program based in Moorpark, CA. This role supports the development of small unmanned aerial vehicle systems for military and commercial applications. This internship exists to provide students with immersive, hands-on experience in aerospace engineering. Interns work within an Integrated Product Team to apply academic knowledge to real-world design, prototyping, and testing challenges under the guidance of senior engineers.
What you'll do
- Assist in the design of airframe structures and aeromechanical components using SolidWorks.
- Support mechanical analysis including kinematics and stress.
- Participate in prototype fabrication and lab testing.
- Revise engineering drawings and documentation.
