Youth Advisor

The Youth Advisor role is onsite in Bethlehem, PA, with pay of $19–$21.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Sundays, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with flexibility for shifts that include weekends, evenings, and occasional overnights. Valley Youth House’s program supports youth through supervision, activities, and life-skills support. The advisor provides consistent, safe supervision and engages young people in activities and individual plans using positive youth development, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate approaches. The role also supports site upkeep, crisis response, required documentation, and ongoing training.

What you'll do

• Supervise assigned clients during shifts, evenings, overnights, and weekends
• engage clients, plan activities, and support life skills
• help clients implement individual plans
• maintain site cleanliness and submit follow-up paperwork
• report crises and critical incidents and complete preliminary safety plans
• attend required training and workshops.
