The Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, with compensation of $80,000–$90,000 per year. The manager leads the bakery’s food safety, quality, and sanitation programs and serves as the site’s SQF Practitioner. Klosterman Baking Company produces bakery products for retail, foodservice, and distribution partners. The role exists to maintain regulatory, customer, SQF, and company compliance while supporting safe, high-quality production. It leads the Quality and Sanitation Departments and coordinates with operations and other teams on audits, corrective actions, product commercialization, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage Quality and Sanitation Departments
• serve as site SQF Practitioner and maintain the SQF Food Safety Management System
• ensure regulatory, customer, and company compliance
• coordinate food safety and quality initiatives across teams
• support product development and commercialization
• lead food safety meetings, reviews, and assessments
• manage non-conforming materials and product holds
• oversee sanitation programs
• lead audits and inspections
• investigate complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
• maintain testing and compliance records
• manage third-party service providers.
