Purchasing Specialist

The Purchasing Specialist role is onsite in El Segundo, CA, with a stated base pay range of $90,000–$115,000 per year. Working with the Head of Supply Chain and engineering teams, the specialist manages supplier communications, purchasing activity, sourcing research, and supplier qualification. The role helps build the supplier ecosystem needed to scale hardware from prototypes toward production.

What you'll do

• Manage supplier communications and track delivery status, performance, and risks
• support purchasing as volume increases
• research supplier capabilities and identify potential suppliers
• prepare sourcing recommendations
• support negotiations and compare quotes and commercial terms
• maintain supplier and pricing data
• collaborate with engineering and other internal teams.
