Class B Commercial Driver

The Class B Commercial Driver works onsite in Houston, TX. Pay is $23–$26 per hour. GR Birdwell Construction performs construction work and uses this role to move parts, equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites. The driver transports equipment and materials safely and supports field crews and construction operations. Vehicle inspections, secure loading, regulatory compliance, and communication with crews and supervisors help keep materials and equipment moving to the work locations that need them.

What you'll do

• Operate rollback trucks and one-ton trucks with gooseneck trailers
• pick up and deliver parts, equipment, materials, and supplies
• transport equipment and materials to and from construction sites
• load, secure, and unload items safely
• perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• maintain vehicles and report mechanical issues
• follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• assist with general construction and equipment-related duties as needed
• communicate with field crews, vendors, and supervisors
• perform parts pickups and other errands as needed.
