The Transit Driver (Sub/Fill-In) role is onsite in De Smet, SD, and pays $16–$18 per hour. The role also supports reliable service through vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and compliance with traffic rules.

What you'll do

• Transport passengers on specified routes and schedules
• perform and record manufacturer-recommended vehicle maintenance and repairs
• assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles
• assist frail and disabled riders to their doors and carry packages when needed
• report progress and problems to a supervisor
• maintain records
• follow traffic regulations
• inspect vehicles daily
• keep vehicles clean and orderly
• attend required meetings and training.
