CDL Class A Driver and Equipment Operator

The CDL Class A Driver and Equipment Operator role is an onsite position based in Monticello, MS. Compensation is $26–$32 per hour. The role transports industrial waste, soil amendments, and other non-hazardous solids for delivery to designated disposal, recycling, or beneficial-use sites. The position combines commercial driving with heavy-equipment operation to move materials safely and in accordance with applicable transportation, safety, customer, and company requirements. Vehicle inspections, driver logs, and prompt reporting of unsafe conditions support safe fleet operations.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy diesel equipment, including hook/roll-off trucks, dump trucks, wheel loaders, and excavators
• operate tandem or tri-axle tractor-trailer combinations
• transport non-hazardous materials to designated sites
• inspect vehicles before and after trips and document issues on DVIR forms
• maintain driver logs and a clean, safe vehicle
• follow OSHA, DOT, and other applicable requirements
• and report unsafe situations to the Manager.

Why this role
