The Skilled Caregiver — In-Home Senior Care, Daniel Island Area role is onsite, serving clients in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties and surrounding areas in South Carolina. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. Visiting Angels provides nonmedical senior home care intended to help seniors remain safely independent at home with dignity. The caregiver provides one-on-one assistance and companionship according to each client’s care plan. Personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, transportation, and light housekeeping help clients with daily needs while keeping families and agency staff informed of changes or emergencies.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• provide medication reminders
• assist with personal care and hygiene
• prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• transport clients to shops, pharmacies, or appointments
• perform light housekeeping
• provide pleasant, engaging companionship
• follow client care plans
• communicate changes in client status to staff.
