The Small Engine Mechanic works onsite in High Springs, FL, primarily in a shop with occasional field service. Pay is $25–$28 per hour, based on experience. The role helps keep crew equipment operational by diagnosing mechanical, fuel, ignition, and electrical issues, completing repairs and preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. It also tracks parts and communicates equipment needs while following company and OSHA safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, service, and repair gas- and diesel-powered small equipment
• maintain pumps, generators, pressure washers, compactors, concrete saws, cutoff saws, chainsaws, and similar equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• troubleshoot fuel, ignition, electrical, and mechanical issues
• replace worn or damaged components
• maintain repair records
• track parts and communicate equipment needs
• keep shop and parts areas organized
• follow safety requirements.
