What you'll do

• Perform phlebotomist duties
• oversee phlebotomy, central processing, send-outs, and specimen processing
• supervise phlebotomy staff and lab receptionists
• coordinate laboratory billing and test coding inquiries
• review invoices and maintain lab policies
• manage equipment service contracts and preventive maintenance
• coordinate with the Epic ambulatory team
• maintain quality assurance and quality control documentation
• renew CLIA licensing
• prepare for inspections and accreditation renewals
• manage lab projects and partnerships
• communicate test procedure changes affecting patient care
• maintain hazardous waste records
• update staff training competency checklists.

Why this role

Requires an active California CDPH Phlebotomist License, a bachelor’s degree, at least one year of leadership experience, and laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance experience. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.
