The Registered Nurse (RN) Designee role is onsite in Hamden, CT, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The RN Designee supports resident services by assisting with medication program oversight, activities of daily living, resident assessments and service plans, staff training, and scheduling, while communicating with residents, families, physicians, and community leadership.

What you'll do

• Assist with supervision of the medication program and medication room activity
• assist residents with medication self-administration and activities of daily living as needed
• maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and physicians
• report significant incidents or changes in resident needs
• assist with resident assessments and service plans
• help train assisted living staff and orient new staff
• attend training and staff meetings
• assist with scheduling and staffing resident services assistants and medication assistants as needed.
