The Residential Counselor, MAP role is an onsite position in Carver, MA, with a 14-hour weekly schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m.–5 p.m., and Monday, 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Pay is $20–$21.25 per hour. The role supports adults in Group Living Environments at BAMSI, whose mission is to help people learn, grow, and thrive. The counselor provides rehabilitative support that builds daily living skills and community integration. The role includes implementing treatment plans under clinician guidance, supporting medication routines under MAP guidelines, advocating for residents, and maintaining a safe home environment.

What you'll do

• Teach activities of daily living, including cooking, budgeting, and medication management, as well as socialization skills
• implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions under clinician guidance
• administer or supervise medications per MAP guidelines and document care
• transport residents to appointments and community activities
• advocate for residents and model healthy coping strategies
• maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.
