The Senior Project Manager, Design & Construction role is onsite in New York, NY. Compensation is not specified. The Asset Management Design & Construction team delivers capital projects that improve and preserve New York City public assets. The role leads design and construction projects across the organization’s real estate portfolio, managing planning, budgets, design coordination, procurement, approvals, and construction execution. It contributes to the delivery of infrastructure and public-space projects aligned with NYCEDC’s economic development mission.

What you'll do

• Manage capital plans and project budgets
• coordinate with portfolio management and property operations
• oversee procurement, assessments, feasibility studies, budgeting, and regulatory approvals
• maintain scope, cost, schedule, reporting, and records
• manage project quality, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• identify and mitigate risks
• coordinate with internal departments, consultants, agencies, and community organizations
• keep stakeholders informed.
