The First-Class Lineworker role is onsite at the Grand Isle District location in Grand Isle, VT, with pay of $43.40–$59.51 per hour. Vermont Electric Cooperative’s Operations Team works to maintain a safe, reliable electric grid for its members. The lineworker builds and maintains overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems and helps restore electric service safely. The role contributes to the cooperative’s reliability and efficiency goals through skilled, safety-focused work with the team.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems
• safely restore electric service
• work collaboratively with the Operations Team and support reliability and efficiency goals
• work extended hours in varying weather conditions and participate in the required on-call rotation.
