Pallet Trim Saw Operator

Job overview

The Pallet Trim Saw Operator role is onsite in Sacramento, CA; compensation is $17–$18.50 per hour. PLA is a supply-chain solutions provider with pallet management, logistics, reverse logistics, and freight services. The operator cuts and prepares pallet components to precise specifications, supporting daily production while maintaining quality, safe equipment operation, and an organized work area. The role also helps meet production goals by inspecting materials, maintaining saws, and escalating equipment or process issues.

What you'll do

• Operate one or more saw types to cut or trim wood to exact measurements
• adjust blades, speeds, and cutting techniques
• inspect and measure pallet components
• sort, stack, and organize cut materials
• meet daily production goals
• inspect and perform general maintenance on saws and related equipment
• identify wood types and grades
• use hand and power tools safely
• maintain a clean, organized workstation
• report equipment failures or process issues to leadership
• perform other assigned tasks.
