Substation General Foreman — Florida Projects

Job overview

The Substation General Foreman role is onsite on projects throughout Florida, with many projects in North Florida. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications; per diem is provided. Powerserve Technologies is an engineering, procurement, and construction company specializing in substation construction projects. The foreman leads field crews performing construction, installation, maintenance, and upgrades at high-voltage substations. The role coordinates daily work, utility interfaces, schedules, and safety to help deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise field crews
• plan daily work and manpower
• assign tasks
• coordinate outages, switching schedules, and site access with utility representatives
• monitor progress and productivity
• interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics
• lead installation of conduit, grounding, cable trays, control cables, equipment, switches, breakers, panels, and structural assemblies
• troubleshoot field issues
• conduct safety meetings and enforce safe work practices.
