Description

The Lactation Consultant RN provides an ongoing assessment and care of the mother through the postpartum periods according to established guidelines. Provides ongoing assessment and care of the newborn according to established guidelines. Provides education to maternal newborn dyad from birth to discharge. Participates in ongoing maternal newborn unit based quality initiatives.
