The Personal Trainer role is onsite at the YMCA of the Suncoast’s Hernando County Branch in Spring Hill, FL. Pay is $21–$27.25 per hour. The trainer works scheduled evening and weekend Wellness Floor shifts and may develop and manage a personal training schedule. The role supports the YMCA’s member wellness services. The trainer instructs members in strength training and fitness evaluation, designs and implements programs for individuals or small groups, and promotes safe use of equipment and facilities. The role also supports member engagement by answering questions, maintaining records, and keeping training areas organized and clean.

What you'll do

• Instruct and educate members in strength training and fitness evaluation
• design and implement individual or small-group fitness programs
• educate members on and enforce operational guidelines
• maintain records and respond to member questions
• follow emergency procedures
• attend designated staff meetings and training
• and keep equipment and facilities clean and organized.
