What you'll do

• Represent applicants at WCAB proceedings
• review medical reports, discovery, pleadings, benefit notices, and case files
• develop hearing strategies with attorneys and case managers
• negotiate settlements within authorized parameters
• identify case issues
• prepare conference statements, hearing reports, settlement documents, and correspondence
• communicate results and next steps
• maintain case notes and deadlines in MerusCase
• and travel to assigned WCAB locations throughout California.
