Project Engineer

The Project Engineer role is onsite in Palm Bay, FL. Compensation is not specified. The position supports manufacturing processes during product development and the transition to production. The work includes developing process documentation, reviewing tooling and programs, supporting product reviews, and addressing repairs, rework, and root causes with internal teams and customers or suppliers as needed.

What you'll do

• Verify manufacturing methods against customer drawings, specifications, and purchase orders
• create bills of material, supply-chain flow-down requirements, manufacturing routers, and time standards
• coordinate product and design-change milestones
• submit tooling and program requests
• review fixture designs and CNC programs
• lead customer product and production-readiness reviews
• disposition repairs, rework, and material review board items
• oversee root-cause and corrective actions
• track milestones and cost goals
• support quotes
• recommend safety and ergonomic improvements
• participate in customer and supplier discussions as required.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, at least 10 years of manufacturing and/or cost-estimating experience, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
