Job overview
The Prep Operator role is onsite in Reserve, LA, with day-shift schedules Monday–Thursday: either 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Pay is $13.00–$17.50 per hour. The role supports Baumer Foods’ Preparation department in producing high-quality food products.
What you'll do
- Set up, operate, and monitor preparation equipment
- follow batch formulas to scale, weigh, and mix ingredients
- remove expired or nonconforming ingredients
- complete production documents
- monitor processes and quality
- maintain sanitation and food safety standards
- follow safety procedures and use required PPE
- report equipment issues and perform basic adjustments or repairs as needed.
