What you'll do

• Organize and improve documentation and procedures for training new employees
• determine complex claim benefits payable based on medical records, contract language, and other information
• assign claims to examiners based on workload, volume, claim type, and experience
• communicate with customers and internal teams to obtain claim information and explain handling
• respond to escalated inquiries, appeals, and complaints
• recommend improvements to claims processes, training, systems, and auditing
• refer matters to other departments as appropriate.
