Finance Analyst

The Finance Analyst role is remote within the United States, with a stated base pay range of $81,000–$125,000 per year; the New York City range is $101,000–$125,000. Sparkfund’s Finance team supports pricing and financial modeling for its Distributed Capacity Procurement programs. The analyst builds, audits, and maintains program pricing models, develops bespoke models for deals outside existing templates, and validates assumptions with Business Development, Program, and Project teams. The role helps ensure pricing outputs are accurate and equips deal teams to use model results in structuring and negotiating deals.

What you'll do

• Build, audit, and maintain programmatic pricing models
• update models as program economics, deal structures, or market conditions change
• build bespoke models for structures outside existing templates
• source and validate cost, revenue, timing, and financing assumptions with partner teams
• flag discrepancies
• and translate model outputs for non-finance stakeholders.
