The role supports residents’ care plans through assessments, treatments, medication administration, documentation, infection control, and communication about resident progress and needs.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care as prescribed and directed
• communicate resident condition and progress to nursing leadership
• maintain treatment supplies
• follow infection-control procedures
• administer medications and treatments as ordered
• document pressure-sore status
• monitor medication and medical-supply inventory
• participate in resident and family education about skin care when a resident is discharged home
• participate in quality-improvement activities as assigned.
