What you'll do

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• discuss repairs and additional service requests with the shop foreman or service advisor
• plan work with the shop foreman
• provide labor estimates
• monitor repair time and update the service advisor
• follow dealership vehicle-care policies
• document client repairs
• assist in mentoring technician trainees
• attend company and factory training
• keep current with factory technical bulletins
• follow applicable regulations, including hazardous-waste disposal rules.
