What you'll do

• Oversee daily greenhouse and growth-chamber operations
• coordinate plant supply and experimental space with research staff
• maintain and repair equipment and environmental-control systems
• lead pesticide application and scouting teams
• ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• develop procedures, train users and technicians, and manage inventory and budgets.

Why this role

Requires an Illinois Commercial Pesticide Applicator license and at least an associate’s degree in horticulture or greenhouse management, or a related bachelor’s or master’s degree. Three to five years of research greenhouse management experience is desirable.
