Functional Tester

Job overview

The Functional Tester role is onsite in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Compensation is $35–$38 per hour. The position supports software testing for public-sector programs and applications. The tester designs and executes test cases against requirements and system designs, analyzes results, and manages defects with development and functional teams to help verify that software behaves as expected.

What you'll do

• Create and execute end-to-end test scenarios
• interpret business requirements and system designs
• use test case and defect management tools
• write Oracle SQL queries when needed to verify business scenarios
• analyze results against functional designs
• track, prioritize, and coordinate defect resolution
• support testing involving legacy-to-modern platform data conversion.
