Food Service Worker, Commercial Kitchen

Job overview

The Food Service Worker role is onsite in Spokane, WA, with shifts starting at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Compensation starts at $17.50+ per hour depending on experience. Spokane Produce supplies fresh produce and related products to grocery, restaurant, wholesale, and government customers. The worker prepares a range of foods in the company’s USDA-regulated commercial kitchen. The role supports food production through preparation, labeling, packaging, cleaning, and sanitation while following required food-handling and paperwork procedures.

What you'll do

• Cut, slice, and prepare sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, salads, soups, pasta salads, hummus, lasagna, stuffed mushrooms, and other products
• label and package products
• clean and sanitize the work area
• complete required USDA paperwork. Previous kitchen experience is required, and a food-handler card must be held or obtained before the start date.
