Yard & Rental Readiness Technician

Job overview

The Yard & Rental Readiness Technician role is onsite at the employer’s New Philadelphia, OH location; compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The technician supports DRP Truck & Equipment’s rental operations and customer equipment pickups and returns. The role inspects, cleans, and prepares rental equipment while keeping the yard and facility organized. It helps ensure equipment is ready for customers and supports safe, orderly equipment handling and property upkeep.

What you'll do

• Inspect rental equipment at check-in and check-out
• identify and report damage or mechanical concerns
• clean and detail equipment
• check fluid levels, grease and fuel machines as required
• organize equipment and attachments
• assist customers with pickups, returns, loading, unloading, and basic operating orientation
• maintain grounds and facility areas
• after required training, assist with local delivery and pickup of smaller rental equipment.
