What you'll do

• Prepare operating rooms, sterile fields, supplies, instruments, and equipment
• assist surgeons by anticipating needs and passing instruments
• maintain aseptic technique
• verify case setup and equipment
• perform surgical counts with the RN
• handle and label specimens
• clean, reprocess, and organize instruments
• follow safety, sterilization, and infection-control standards
• collaborate with the surgical team.
