The Operator Technician — Production, 2nd or 3rd Shift role is onsite in Schenectady, NY. Base pay is $21 per hour, plus a $0.50 per-hour differential for second shift or $1.75 per-hour differential for third shift. The dsm-firmenich Health, Nutrition and Care business unit produces premixes for dietary supplements, infant formula, and food. The production operator handles and weighs raw materials, operates production equipment, samples and inspects materials and finished goods, and documents process issues. This work supports safe, accurate production of premix products at the Schenectady site.

What you'll do

• Transport, weigh, and add raw materials according to batch formulas
• load blenders, package finished goods, sample batches, inspect materials and products, and palletize and store goods
• work across production areas
• monitor and document equipment failures and deviations
• report process concerns
• take samples for quality and analytical testing
• follow the four-eye principle.
