What you'll do

• Provide small-group or one-to-one specialized instruction according to students’ IEP hours
• implement instruction based on IEP goals
• collaborate with general education teachers and the Special Education Coordinator on push-in and pull-out services
• prepare classroom environments and targeted materials
• support Behavior Intervention Plans and the student support team
• participate in parent education, meetings, and conferences
• write IEPs and maintain student records, assessments, and progress reports
• participate in planning for the anticipated self-contained classroom and serve as its lead teacher.
