What you'll do

• Operate excavators, mini-excavators, loaders, and related equipment for trenching, excavation, and backfill
• excavate precisely around live utilities while following safety guidelines
• inspect and maintain equipment and report issues
• follow trench safety, shoring, and barricading standards
• assist with pipe installation, backfill, and cleanup
• coordinate with crews using hand signals and radios
• position materials and trench boxes using proper rigging
• maintain work areas and complete equipment logs
• and support other site tasks as assigned.
