The Patient Care Aide (PCA), PRN, 12-Hour Shifts role is onsite in Parker, CO, at a PRN rate of $24 per hour, with listed shift differentials for nights and weekends. Valley Hope of Parker provides residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment and supports lifelong recovery. The aide assists nursing staff with care aligned to treatment plans, monitors patients’ health, and records observations. The role contributes to safe, sanitary care and supports patients’ daily needs and treatment in a residential recovery setting.

What you'll do

• Assist nursing staff in providing care according to treatment plans
• measure vital signs and monitor patient health. Assist patients with everyday needs, communicate patient status to nursing and clinical staff, and document treatment activities and observations. Transport patients as needed, maintain a safe and sanitary environment using infection-control techniques and universal precautions, and perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques as directed.
