What you'll do

  • Maintain trauma-center verification standards
  • prepare staff for American College of Surgeons verification and re-verification
  • coordinate trauma care protocols and monitor inpatient care
  • provide staff development and community trauma education
  • monitor clinical processes and outcomes, conduct audits and case reviews, identify trends, and support remedial actions
  • manage operational, personnel, and financial aspects as appropriate
  • supervise trauma registry data collection and validation
  • liaise with hospital departments, administration, EMS, and community committees
  • participate in research and trauma-system development
  • manage and develop staff.
